Jelly Bean Run!

TOO fun!

Excuse me, but I am interrupting the usually scheduled WORDLESS WEDNESDAY order of the world to announce another awesome Virtual Race, sponsored and organized by the beautiful and talented Jess (Run with Jess).

This event, the Jelly Bean virtual race, is being held during Easter Week – that’s right – you get to pick YOUR preferred date, time and even distance!  Awesome, right? So whether you are a fitness newbie or a seasoned athlete, you can participate for points competing in:

  • Run 5K (3.1 miles)
  • Run 10K  (6.2 miles)
  • Run Half-Marathon (13.1 miles)
  • Bike 21K (13 miles)

Cool, right? I signed up for the 13.1 run – even though I haven’t committed to a new training plan for Utah yet, I am sure the long run will be about that distance at that time. Plus, there are awesome PRIZES!  And it’s free! And who doesn’t like wearing a bib for a race they’re running in with friends all over the country?

From Jess' Cupcake Classic, back in October

Some of my previous “virtual race” experiences: The Cupcake Classic, Home for the Holidays Virtual 10K and the Run for Sherry.

If you have never participated in a virtual race, I’d highly recommend it!

What race have YOU run that you could win awesome swag like this?

So sign up for Jess’ newest event TODAY, win sweeet prizes (I am talking sponsorship from rockin’ brands like  SparkleSkirts  •  Nuun  •  iTunes  •  Road ID  •  GU Energy   •  My Trainer Bob Harper) and have fun!

What is your favorite race distance?
